Hey! This is an About Me page, if it wasn't already obvious.

My name is Kaitlyn Montano and I am currently a senior at Dunlap High School. I enjoy reading novels, playing video games, and practicing music on my piano and cello. I take a lot of interest in the creative arts and animation, whether it be watching and observing the process and final product, or partaking in the activity myself. Although unhealthy, I spent a lot of time watching T.V. as a kid. Being able to see a made-up world come to life through individually drawn frames was so intriguing to me that I completely left myself get consumed in it. For me, its one experience to read a book, as the interpretation for everything is up to you, but it's a totally different experience to see it animated. To actually physically see these characters and environments that were only once described in books is satisfying.

In this blog, I plan to share some of my favorite cartoons that I grew up watching and what I personally felt about them. I will describe the basic plot, so that readers can have an understanding of the shows, but know that this means there might be spoilers. These blogs can range from emotional rants to detailed analysis of children's cartoon shows.

I am obviously not a certified critic or professional animator, as I am only a high school student, but I have spent years hyperfixating on these made up worlds. I have joined forums and communities to read and discuss the lore, history, and characters of these shows. In the future, I also plan on getting involved in the animation industry by either studying to become an animator or something related. I will only write about and analyze T.V. shows that I have at finished watching, so that I do not miss anything. Keep in mind that these blogs are about my personal opinions and reviews on T.V. shows and should not be taken too seriously.

I didn't want to upload an actual picture of myself, so I drew one instead to avoid copyrighting.
